Can't believe it's been 6 years since you left us. We all miss you very much. Your girls are precious they remind us everyday of you. They both got homecoming this year and we are very proud of them. Your mama and daddy miss you very much. They think of you all the time and wish you were still here with us. Words can't describe how bad your brother misses you. This time of year is so hard on him. He misses all the deer hunting, dove shooting, fishing, turkey hunting and just spending time with you. He always looked up to you and always will no matter what. You will never be forgotten as long as he lives. Bailey will be seven this year and he has taught her so much about you. We have a wall in our home that's just about you to remind us of your sacrifice. Daniel and Brett talk about you often. Daniel talks about the little mower he had to cut your grass with and we just laugh. We have a new addition to the family and you would be so proud of him. Me and Todd have a new son he was born on Jan.4, 2011 and we named him after you. His name is Jamieson Todd, your mama and daddy say he reminds them of you he has pretty blue eyes and you know Todd is teaching him all about his uncle Jamie. Todd has your deer on our wall and he shows them to him all the time and tells him all about when you killed them. Todd still drives your truck occasionally. He can't wait till Jamieson gets big enough to drive it of course Bailey has already drove it. Your girls were with us over the weekend shooting doves and Todd let them shoot your shot gun. We enjoy having them around us they are so smart you would be so proud of them. Malissa is such a great mom! you don't have to worry about them we all watching over them. Your memorial is coming up on the 29th and Todd gets to be here this year for it. Just remember we all our very proud of your sacrifice and we love and miss you very much.

Things are constantly changing but a few things remain the same. You already know what those things are so there is no need to tell you. Oh yeah, I have transferred over to the drug task force now but still work at the PD sometimes. I often think of how it would be if you were still here, the good and the bad! I'm always thinking of you and that's not going to change. Keep watching over us, which is something that was a part of your personality. Until later, I'll be missing you!

I wish there was more I could have done that aweful night but I know it was all in gods hands. Your in a better place now and I know one day I'll see u again. Watch over your fellow brothers and try to keep them from harm. You may be gone but you'll never be forgotten. I can still remember us talking and laughin right before u made your traffic stop. It's been a while since I've felt the strength to visit this page. The past week has been a little hard for me. I realized today that the feelings still run deep. The 'what ifs' still haunt me. I still miss you very much.

The holidays are coming and been thinking of you, wishing we were all together again at moma and daddy's. Those were the best times for our family. We take for granted those days and wish they could be repeated again. No one ever knows what lies ahead of us, we need to appreciate each and every day when we are with the ones we love. You are still no. 1 to me Jamie. You are loved and missed by so many.

It has been 4 years since our life was changed forever. I still think about our last conversation when you wanted to talk about something, but you told me to wait a few more days. And you know how waiting makes me... Now I think everyday what it could have been.... You would be so proud of our girls. They are growing into fine little ladies. Aside from all the fighting with each other. They still talk about you all the time. All your budddies keep spoiling them though. Especially Brent, Brian and Jamey... And I'm sure with them around I dont have to worry about all the boys.... We miss you and know that you will continue watching over us till we meet again..
Love you always

HEY MAN, IT'S BEEN 4 YEARS AND I STILL HAVE TROUBLE MOVING ON. I KNOW THAT YOU ARE IN A BETTER PLACE RATHER THAN DOWN HERE PUTTING UP WITH ALL THIS NONSENSE. I MESSED AROUND WITH YOUR GIRLS LAST WEEK WHICH IS BECOMING A REGULAR THING NOW. BRENT IS STILL BEING HIMSELF AND YOU KNOW HOW THAT IS. WE ARE STILL HANGING IN HERE AND STILL DOING WHAT WE HAVE TO DO SO CONTINUE TO WATCH OVER ALL OF US! YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN AND MAN DO WE MISS YOU!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the fourth anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I hold your family in thought and prayer today, tand also your partner Commander Purcell. You are loved and missed by so many.

Rest In Peace
