Yet another warrior has been brought home from battle on his shield. I can not express in words my sympathy to the Romero family and his close friends for their loss. I only hope that David watches over his family during this very hard time. I also hope that his close friends in law enforcement come to the aid of his family and stand at their side for it will be a very rough road ahead of them. David is a true hero and will never be forgotten.

God Bless you. I did not know Officer Romero however I have a feelng that he was a fine Officer. Everytime that I see an Officer, whether I knew him or not, I feel like he/she was my brother/sister. I feel like Officer Romero was a part of my family that I just never got to meet. Rest in Peace Brother, the beat is ours now. You will always be remembered.

I was deeply saddened to read the memorial for Officer David Romero. As I am a retired motor officer I think it's safe to say that he left this world doing what he loved.
