I often think of the day all of this took place... I pray for your family and your fellow officers that were on scene. I have memories of you walking through the ballpark making sure our babies were safe with a huge smile on your face. Heavy on my heart knowing you are watching us all.....

I felt your hand this morning waking me at 6:30 to let me know it's your birthday. I wish you were here with me. No one should have to feel the loss of a child especially one as wonderful as you. Happy Birthday Baby

Although it has been 7 1/2 years I still remember reading about your death when it was first posted on ODMP. I found myself tonight thinking about you and the ultimate sacrifice you gave to save a fellow man in distress. You are still in my book a true Hero, giving your life to save a fellow man. I am honored to have the watch for you now. Continue to Rest in Peace Brother!

Hey little buddy, I miss you so much. I come here often and read the reflections. I usually lurk, but once in a great while I write and hope you will know that you are thought of daily and loved and missed by so many. You were such a great inspiration. Isiah 6:8...

Boe,

More than 6 years have passed, and I still find it so hard to believe at times that you are not here on earth with us. I know you are here with us each in spirit; we all feel you in our hearts, and our memories. Only one other time before have I been able to bring myself to write something here. I cannot explain why I felt compelled to do so tonight, other than I just have had an overwhelming need to talk to you. I think of you each day, seldom are you not in my thoughts; never are you out of my heart, my brother. The pain of your loss is less now, but your memory stands strong and vivid. Having you as a friend, a brother in all the ways that are important, and I still miss you. I just don't think I can ever stop. I love you now, as I did when you were with us. Despite no shared blood running through our veins, you were as much a brother to me as Ronald or Kenneth. Your death left a hole in my heart that can not be filled, but there is a smile in my spirit that protects your memory from fading. I just wanted you to know. I wish you were still here, but I am thankful that you wait for me to arrive for the eternal party hereafter.

Forever smiling at the thought of you,

Bo -

Time seems to move so fast these days, now another year tacked on. Man, you are so missed. I have you on my screen saver slide-show at work and memories of you stay with me. I miss your smile. But oh what joy is in my heart knowing that you are in a better place and someday we will all be together! What rejoicing that will be. Bo, you would not recognise the S.O., they have moved into a new building; and the Courthouse now has a new judicial center. Changes all the time. Our little town is growing. I wish you could be here. God bless you Bo, and you will always remain in my heart!
Love ya Bro!

Boe,
I've been reflecting lately of my loved ones that's I've lost recently. Then, my friend, you face came into mind. What a wonderful man you were, not to mention a outstanding peace officer. So many lives you touched, and made a difference. They just dont make many men like you anymore. My beloved Quentin is there with you now, and oh what joy is in my heart. He too thought so highly of you. Looking forward to the big day when we will all be together again, til then my friend....
Love you Bro! Barbara
