I was proud to find out that you were finally honored after all these years. One day I will get to meet you in glory and I look forward to that, I honestly do not know much about you except for the paper I wrote about you in high school. My grandfather said as a child they were not allowed to talk about it so he wouldn't talk about it. I would love to know your personality and feelings about family. Your not forgotten.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 86th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Grandpa,
You are a hero, not only to me, but to everyone who ever knew you. Even though I never had the privilege of knowing you personally, I have listened to stories about your life and the legacy you left for all your decendants. You lived your life as a good, decent Christian whose values are still reflected in the eyes of your grandchildren and great grandchldren. Your legacy will live on and I am proud to say I am your granddaughter. Thank you Deputy Crowder for honoring him for his service. Thank you Grandpa for living a life that was an example to everyone who ever knew you.
