Your heroism and service is honored today, the 89th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

You'll be glad to know that the Fat Stock Show still goes on,, it's running right now. And there is a place set aside to raise money for the memorial to be built in honor of all the FWPD officers who have died in the line of duty.
