Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Timothy David Graham

Your family is in my thoughts on this first anniversary. I wish there were some magic words I could offer them to help them with their pain, but there are none. All I can suggest is to take one day at a time and to keep your memory alive. Keep watch over them and help them with their grief. Come to them in their dreams so that they can feel you close to them and know you are okay. You are a true hero and will never be forgotten.

Tim -

I can't believe we're coming up on one year since we lost you. It still seems so recent when we lost you.

Each time I visit you in the Rincon foothills, It is like the day of the funeral all over again. I can't believe you are gone... despite how long it truly has been.

We all miss you down here bud. Wish you were here.... lord knows I could use your help. I know that you are busy watching over your wife and the boys. If you should get a chance, stop by Eyman and visit us for a while. We'd be glad to have you Tim.

To Mrs. Graham and the Graham Family - should you or your family want - please feel free to email me at [email protected]. I would love to talk to you about Tim, or to be a shoulder to cry on, or just be a person to talk to.

Rest In Peace Brother Tim. I'll see you when I get there - for now... enjoy your retirement.

Hi Tim,

I just wanted to tell you that I love and miss you so very much. I found a funny picture of you from the Rocky Point trip. That was such a fun trip and I wish there were more to come. I know that I don't understand all of life's mysteries and am an absolute believer that it is even more beautiful than I could possibly imagine... so I hope this somehow reaches you and finds you happy. You are always inspiring and always held dear in so many hearts. Thank you so much for being a light in the world :)

All my love, Julie

Tim,
A couple weeks ago some deputies from San Xavier were involved in a chase where people were shooting at them from the car. Myself and other deputies dealt with a man randomly shooting from inside his house towards deputies outside just last week. Nobody from our family was injured in either incident and I can't help but think it is because you were watching over us and protecting us. Thank you for that. I think about you daily. Rest in peace.

Tim, you've set an example of heroism and selflessness to the rest of us. I want you to know that during the holidays our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Your funeral was beautiful, I wept and I was not the only one. Thank you. Your heroic deeds, too numerous to list will live on. May Saint Michael take care of you.

TIM,
I MISS YOU BROTHER.
I MISS YOU WATCHING MY BACK ON CALLS AND KNOWING I WAS SAFE.
I MISS LOOKING IN MY REAR VIEW MIRORROR AND KNOWING YOU YOU YOU WERE FOLLOWING ME TO A CALL, ESPECIALLY THE DAYS WE WERE THE ONLY TWO WORKING BEAT-2.
I MISS PARKING CAR-TO-CAR WITH YOU WHILE YOU SMOKED A CIGARETTE.
YOU WERE SO KIND TO PEOPLE, EVEN WHEN THEY WERE RUDE.
THANK YOU FOR COVERING BEAT-2 SO THAT THE REST OF US COULD EAT.
THANK YOU FOR FOR TAKING CALLS THAT EVERYONE ELSE TRIED TO AVOID.
I KNOW GOD HAS A SPECIAL PLACE IN HEAVEN FOR YOU.
THANK YOU FOR BEING MY FRIEND/MY BROTHER.
I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU MY BROTHER!!
REST IN PEACE.

I look at your picture at my desk every day at work. It's from the memorial service. We never met, little brother, but we are family. The service was awesome. Sherry was beautiful and the boys handsome. And Marsha and the brothers carried you so very tenderly. Tucson and others came out to say good bye to you, did you see? We did it right for you, did you see? They played the pipes and Taps, did you hear? There were fly overs and doves on a clear blue sky. Then Katie called for you ... last call ... could you hear her? I felt like we were all straining to hear you call back 'Code 4'.

I know you are 'Code 4' ... but keep an eye on the rest of your brothers and sisters down here .... we could use the back up.

And I'll be seein' ya ... just not too soon :-)

Tim,
You were so much fun to spend time with- I will never forget our karaoke days and "Baby Got Back". Your ear-to-ear smile always lit up the room.
I know that joining the SO was a dream of yours, and I am so happy that you finally got to achieve your dreams, and be happily married to Sherry and be a stepfather to her boys.
You will always be remembered as a great friend and a terrific person to be around- You always made us all smile.
You are also remembered as a brother from our bond in law enforcement, and I know that you were loving your job- to serve and protect- up to the very last minute.
You will never be forgotten.

Saint Michael, heaven's glorious commissioner of police, who once so neatly and successfully cleared God's premises of all its undesirables, look with kindly and professional eyes on your earthly force.

Give us cool heads, stout hearts, and an uncanny flair for investigation and wise judgement.

Make us the terror of burglas, the friend of children and law-abiding citizens, kind to strangers, polite to bores, strict with law-breakers and impervious to temptations.

You know, St. Michael, from your own experiences with the devil that the police officer's lot on earth is not always a happy one; but your sense of duty that so pleased God, your hard knocks that so surprised the devil, and your angelic self-control give us inspiration.

And when we lay down our night sticks, enroll us in your heavenly force, where will be as proud to guard the throne of God as we have been to guard the city of all people. Amen

Rest in peace Deputy Graham, you have earned your wings, Angel in Blue.
