Terry
Had the opportunity to meet your mother this week during a business transaction. Her outlook was positive and helpful which is certainly the way that you conducted your life. Today being Memorial Day I felt that I should honor you with this note. May your memory remain in the heart's and mind's of all citizen's that you had sworn to protect.

Terry, I miss you so much and haven't posted many notes in public but you have always been in my heart, everyday. I know that sometimes, I am down here saying to myself, "Wow, I wish Terry could have seen this or seen that!" I know the truth is that you are in Heaven saying the same thing, "Wow, I wish Mom, or Dad or Lacey, Kaylan, Gracie, Millie, Lynne, everyone else I loved on earth could see this!" You are such a man of God and I love you so much and miss you with all of my heart. I love you Terry Elaine Wright

I remember you as a friend and a co worker. But I remember your smile and sense of humor more than anything. Joking with me all the time. It made the job we did so much easier to bear. We had a good time at 1st district. But the good times didn't last and you were taken from us.
I miss you greatly and think about you often. I try not to wonder why anymore (as I know you wouldn't want me to do). Then I just take comfort in remembering the smile and the laugh that always made things better for everyone at the BRPD.
Thank you.

Had the privledge of meeting your Mom and sisters today as Pastor Dino Mayor Holden and Chief Laduff Honored your memory and family. I told your mom that I hope to be at least half the officer u were, she said i was... very encouraging. I asked myself a while back if i had the drive to do what i do knowng theres a chance I may not come home at the end of the day to see my wife and child... and I decided I did have that drive.. And what a great oppurtunity we have to show the love of Christ in our profession.. that we serve and protect..and be a light as u were. RIP

I learned of you under clear blue skies,
Read your life story with tears in my eyes.
I smiled about your cricket joke,
And sympathized with the hearts you broke.
We never met, but I know well
Who loved you more than words can tell.
Moments come and then they pass,
But memories are of everlast....
I'm happy we 'met'. Thank you for your service and love while here on Earth, and, for touching my life.

It's hard to believe it's been five years. August 10th is always hard but in reality it's really no different from the rest of the days, not a day goes by that I don't think about you. We miss you so much Terry, I miss your laugh, I miss your jokes, and I miss your annoying singing. I miss coming home and finding you in my bed eating cheetoes and watching tv because you didnt want to get your bed dirty! I just miss you, but I know you're okay and I know I will see you again. Keep me safe until then, I love you.

Happy Valentine's Day Terry! I just heard another great song that totally made me think of you. "Cryin for you" by Toby Keith. Its awesome, and my favorite lyrics are, "even though this hurts so bad, I would do it all again". My thoughts exactly. Loving & missing you.
