This is a loss that will never be forgotten. Hours will turn into days, days turn into weeks, weeks into months and months into years but, the difference that these officers have made will last forever.

We lost Our Deputy Morris Taylor on September 14, 2002. When he joined the other Angels in Blue.

My heart goes out to Officer Morgan's family, friends, and co-workers. I know firsthand the shock, pain, and heartache y'all are feeling--my son was murdered in the line of duty on May 16, 2005. I was amazed by the outpouring from so many people and took comfort in reading their Reflections on ODMP--that is why I wanted to say how sorry I am over the senseless death of yet another law enforcement officer. You're in my thoughts and prayers. May God hold you in His loving arms and comfort you as only He can do.

Now that the cowardly duo have been captured they will have to answer to the People of the State of Tennessee for their acts of violence and pitiful lives. And then some day they will have to answer to a "Higher Power".

May God Bless your family and may you rest in peace. May the Lord's love surround your family and friends in this time of loss. May God comfort your partner as well. You have dutifully served your fellow man and your country. You will not be forgotten. A Hero never is.

Though it won't bring you back to your family and friends that are grieving and trying to cope with this horrible tragedy, it is comforting that the fugitives have now been apprehended and can no longer hurt anyone else. God's peace be with you. Rest peacefully in God's heavenly kingdom; you sure have earned it. Thank you for your service. Your family is in our hearts and prayers.
