I was in disbelief this morning as I arrived for work and was told that a Braselton Officer had been involved in an accident and was thrown from the vehicle. My heart sank as I was told that his name was Todd; and I finished the sentence... Helcher. I stopped right there and prayed to God to save you. But as we all know He has His own plans for us. I was informed shortly afterward that you didn't make it.
Todd, during the time we worked together through 911, I got to know you; you are such an intelligent, humorous, and caring person, you were a great Officer. You touched my life forever as I'm sure you did the same for many other people. I will miss you greatly but I will always keep you close to my heart and remeber you as the wonderful man and Officer that you were.
Your family and your department are in my prayers.
Rest in peace.
You are loved.

Once again we get a call, on the radio, that a Brother Officer is being brought to our facility by Med Unit.
We did not know how bad it was until you arrived ..... we've lost another.
Rest in Peace now Brother, your tour of duty on this earth is now over. We'll take it from here.
Although we are grieving, we are assured that you are now serving with St. Michael's Army and will look over us.
Thanks for a job well done. WE salute you and are proud of the work you have done.
