My parents knew Sgt Gonzales and they spoke well of him. Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of meeting this man. Although our paths never crossed, he was still my brother in Law Enforcement and will be missed. He gave his life doing something that many in this country can never claimed to have done. He gave to his community. He sacrificed for the people around him. He gave the ultimate price so that his community could feel safe went they went to work, sent their kids to school, or when they laid down to sleep at night. You are a Hero and now your watch down here is done. Shelly and Justin know that you are in our prayers always. No words can take away the pain you are feeling right now. Your husband / father was a hero and more should strive to live the life that he did. Rest In Peace My Brother.
