Reflections for Sergeant William Leo McEntee

Our family keeps the McEntee family in our prayers. We know the pain you're feeling. It seems so unfair that the good ones always become the victim, while the scum continue to live on. God bless your family and know there are people out there that care.

I am very sorry to hear about the loss of Officer McEntee. This is very heartbreaking and I am very saddened to hear that another officer has given his life. I want this guy, Kevin Johnson, to die and suffer the way that this officer had to. I never met him, but I am sure he was a fine police officer and daddy to his children. His spirit will stay alove through his family and loved ones. Rest in peace officer- your fellow officers in the area will get this a@#hole! I am confident that they will make him pay the price.

I have never met Sgt. McEntee, but I was glued to the TV when I found out about the shooting, while they were taking his mother and children into the hospital it hit me that he had passed away. I then started crying, I have worked with many police officers over the years, attended one funeral of a friend who also was shot while on duty. I know that Sgt. McEntee's family will have a hard time to grieve, and that alone made my heart so heavy and sad. His family needed him, he gave his life to protect the citizens of his community. His family will be the ones in the future who will suffer for someone's senseless actions. They will never be the same.
