Hey Bill,
JUst checking in. I still think of you every day. It has not been any easier. Sgt. Raymond has been keeping me under check. He reminds me alot of the way you treated your platoon. I'm am sure you have had something to do with this. I miss you, and thanks for having Doug keep an eye on me. He is filling your shoes well. P.S. he tries to run like you, but he is not as graceful as your turtle paced run. I will talk to you later.

Bill,
Another soccer season is here. You are still missed. Be with all of us as we sift through what is true and what is not true. So many still hurting for you. Be with those who remember you with love.

Bill,
Thirteen months. As time passes, it seems to get even harder. So many memories pop into my head every day and it is still so hard to believe you are gone. I need you. I miss you so, so much. Love you-Jayne

I don't think I will ever stop missing you. When I have a day where I don't want to get out of bed, I feel you telling me to get the hell up. I'm going to stay up for you, Bill. Stay with me, watch my back. I love you - Kath

Bill,
So many people miss you that I think you would be embarassed by it. A case was made for some of your stuff and it sits in the lobby of the department and last week the park next door was renamed in your name with a really nice memorial installed. It sits right next to Tommie's park bench. I have sat there several times now wondering why things happen the way they do. There has to be a reason, but I the price of losing you was to much to pay. Be assured that we are taking one day at a time and your family is doing okay. God bless Mac and rest easy.

I had the honor of meeting your family at COP Week this year in Washington. They are some really neet people. You sisters were very nice and we had a great time hanging out. There were nice enough to give me a new Masters bracelot after they found out mine broke. My aunt talks to your sisters a lot, I am glad they are there for each other.

Bill
It feels just like yesterday that I talked to you, I miss you and your witty comments. I wish that you were still here to keep me company on midnights so we could talk our way through the pain of working crappy hrs. There is not a day that goes by that I dont think about you. I walk pass your photo every morning at the station and wish you were carrying your gym bag, following me saying that I was gonna be late . We all miss you very much... Watch over us like you always have.

There are so many people who miss you that you never even knew that well. I was working the other day during your memorial dedication, it was hard but we got through it. There was a man that came into the station to buy a window cling, he pulled out a business card with your information on it. It was sad for me to see, but it made me understand what a great guy you were (I knew this a long time ago.....)This grown man in a sad voice said he owed you a drink. I assumed bud-light or something in that nature. But he told me that you boys enjoyed a nice cup of jo (java) at Q-t , and that you told him the next one was on him because you bought the one he was speaking about. We miss you so much,... theres not a day that goes by that you are not in our thoughts.. be safe and look over your Family and Your Kirkwood PD Brothers and Sisters..
