Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray
and do Thou, O Prince of the Hevenly Host-
by the Divine Power of God -
cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits,
who roam throught the world seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen

You've been on my mind a lot during the World Series. I have to believe that you had something to do with your Bo Sox sweeping yet another NL team.

Be there for your family and friends during the upcoming weeks - they're going to need you more than ever. Please help the jury get it right this time!

Bill,
I know you are with Katie today on her 16th birthday. I can't believe it. I know you are proud of her and love her very much. You should be here celebrating with her, but I know your presence is there and always will be. Miss you and Love You-Jayne

Watch over your family during another terrible period they must endure. We are all there for them, but sometimes we know it's just not enough. May God help them and bring to justice the criminal who took you from them.

Happy Birthday Bill!
There was a hockey game last night, which I am sure I would have taken you to for your birthday - I would give anything to do that again - I would even sit through one of your "bombs"! I cherish those memories and keep them all close in my heart. They are what keep me going. I am sure you are having a few "buds" with dad and the rest of the family - have one for me. Love you and Miss you - Jayne

Bill,
Miss you. Thanks for the dream last night-how I wish it were real and could really talk to you again. It was so good to see your smile and laugh-it was so vivid. This time of year is so hard-will be even harder coming up. I know you will be there-give us strentgh, bring us some peace. Hockey season started-another reason why this time of year is so hard. I'm trying. Love you and Miss you-Jayne

Our slain blue angel
lost to this world,
but not to our hearts.
We see you in our dreams
and in our memories,
we will always feel
you in our souls.
You will not be forgotten.
Love will be the life line.
Guide us through our pain,
help us build new strength.
And until we meet again,
wrap your wings around us and
keep us in your sight. Kath

Bill,
Miss you. You should be here-there has been so much going on lately that I would give anything to talk to you about-the simple things we would talk - and laugh - about. Not just me-but all of us. You are DEFINITELY not forgotten-not a day goes by.... Continue to watch over us-give us some extra strength to make it through the next couple of months. Also wanted to let you know how proud I am of you. Love you-Jayne

I was grocery shopping yesterday and a woman noticed the McEntee shirt I was wearing. She stopped me because she had just been to the memorial in Washington DC. She doesn't know you, but recognized your name and had to say something. I told her how you were missed every minute of every day by your family. We both had tears in our eyes as we talked about you. So, today, Bill I will perform some act of kindness in your honor and memory.

Without a doubt Bill McEntee was the most real and down to earth person Ive ever met when you talked to him you know you were getting it straight that was so refreshing no b.s.

September 1, 2007

Hi Bill - I'm thinking about you all the time and hoping I can still be strong. I miss you so much, I can still see your smile. I won't ever let that memory fade. All I have are your memories to fill the void left by your death. Keep a special watch on Mom. I love you always, Kath.

I rode in Kirkwood the other week and got a chance to see the very place you patroled that night. Hearing the stories from your fellow officers showed me how much respect and honor they have for you. I hope to one day have the bravery you showed when I become a police officer. Thank you Sgt. McEntee, from everyone you protected and served.

Thinking of you today with the senseless death this week of another brave officer reminds me alot of what happensd to you, just a cop out doing his job....God help us all

August 21, 2007

Bill,
Just thinking of you today - I attended the wake last night of Mr Barthelmass who has been a huge supporter and a great man. I am sure you are taking good care of him. Then another officer has gone down....senseless. Keep a special watch over their friends and family - and your own - especially mom. Miss you more and more each day-more so today. Love you-Jayne

Sgt. McEntee was my Sgt.while I was at Kirkwood Pd. Sgt. also attended my wedding. Everyday that I put on the uniform I think of him. It is so hard to understand why this happened to this man. I miss him and I pray for him everyday.
