Hi Mac ... I visit everyone once in awhile but it has been some time since I left you a note. Thought it was time to revisit and let you know that you are never far from my thoughts. It is also hard to believe that it will be five years since you were taken from us. A lot of things have changed and I can't help but think what the department would be like if you were still here. You were one of only a few that would actually speak your mind and stand by it. Anyway, I hope you are resting easy. Keep an eye on us please and help guide us to the right path so we all do what is right ...

I can't believe it is 2010 and you aren't with us. So much life has gone by. I miss you so much still. Say a prayer for all of us for a Good New Year. I could use a special "in" from you and Bud. You know why. Love you and I still cry. I know there is no crying in heaven, but there is here. You should be so proud of your children. Mary has done a great job. Love, your big, but shorter, sister.

Merry Christmas Bill!
Another Christmas without you - keep a special watch over all of us - we all know you are here in spirit - and always will be. The memories of years past always comfort me. I am sure there is quite a celebration up there - and that comforts me as well. We miss you all so much! You are not, and never will be, forgotten. Love you - Jayne

I am a Police Sergeant in the New Zealand Police. I am also a Sergeant McEntee, and seeing his name makes me realise that he is not just my brother in vocation, but my brother in name. I did not know him, but I will forever think of him as just that, my brother. You can ride with me anytime - rest in peace.

I'm remembering the loss of U-City's loss of Sgt. King this weekend, and that invariably leads me to think about you, Sgt. Biggs and Officer Ballman as well. I was fortunate enough to attend National Police Week in D.C. last May and remember seeing your photo on the wall.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that no matter how many years go by, you're definitely not forgotten. I think/pray for your family so often, and I hope you and your fellow brothers in blue are at peace together up there.

Bill,
Be with Kate today - I can still hear you calling her "Kate" - on her 18th birthday! It's hard to believe she is 18! I know you are proud of her, as you always were. I see alot of you in her, which brings me comfort. Keep a special watch over her today and always. Love and miss you.-Jayne

Sgt. McEntee,
It was a great honor to get to know your sister Kathy over this past weekend at a C.O.P.S. siblings retreat just outside of Potosi MO. She is a very outstanding an caring person. I consider her a good friend now. I know that you mean so much to her and that she misses you very much! Thank you for your service and protecting our communities.
