Deputy Lynch,
Thank you for your dedication and service. Please know that your family is not alone. Unfortunately, there are many more like them who are now a part of a new "family"....of what they call "survivors"...it's a strong word, but i have decided it takes a strong person to make it thru things like this. as i am writing this to you, it would have been my fiancee's 23rd birthday today. he was killed over 2 years ago now. i can't say that the pain gets easier and i definitely won't say that it goes away. if anything, reality sets in, the shock wears off, and you begin to figure out how to establish a new sense of "normal"... there are no words that i can offer that will change what has happened or that will ease the pain and heartache. please just know that i am thinking of all those you left behind and praying for them. they will need Heavenly strength in the days, weeks, months, and years to come.

You are a hero. Thank you for all of your hard work and commitment to the community. Your life was taken for the wrong reason. You saved so many lives during your duty. You also saved many more lives by killing this jerk- he had a plan to really hurt some people with all the guns and clips he had. Rest in peace and let your brothers and sisters in blue take the streets down here while you join the other heros in heaven.

I am drawn to this site always in the hope of just honoring the previous names in the eow column. I invariably experience the emotions of sadness, frustration and disgust as another name is added. How can such miserable excuses for human beings be allowed to walk on God's earth and not only cause pain and devastation to their own family, but to take the life of another human being who is willing to walk in harms way to help and protect others in the most dangerous circumstances. God bless this most heroic Deputy and give his wife, children, extended family, friends, and his law enforcement brothers and sisters the strength they will need in dealing with their grief at this very tragic time. May the perpetual light shine upon Deputy Lynch's soul and may he rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers will be offered for this family and know that those of us who have also lost our loved ones will never forget to honor the memory of those who continue to sacrifice their lives in the line of duty. They are truly made in His image and likeness.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
