It was devastating to me to read about your family's loss. I lost my brother last week in a car accident, so I understand what you are going through. Be strong and have faith in God. He will pull your through this. May God bless you all. I know he is patroling Heaven with my brother right now.

On May 9, 2005, our Department also lost an officer in the Line of Duty. During my tenure we have had 4 Officers whom were wounded during their shift, but, nothing compares to the grief we have felt this week with the untimely lost of one of our finest. The only thing I can do is to let you know, my heart goes out to all who worked with this this Officer and the grief they are experiencing at this time. And most of all, to the family. May God keep you close and help you through this time of great sorrow and grief. To Deputy Andy Taylor...God Speed Sir, Rest in Peace!

Deputy Taylor,

I just returned home from Washington, D.C. for National Police Week and came across the news of your death. May God bless your family, friends, coworkers, and all other loved ones. I will never understand why God takes the young ones; my fiance was only 20 when he was killed over 2 years ago now. My heart especially goes out to your fiancee. It is a long, hard road she will have to walk, but it is my sincere hope and my prayer that you will guide her every step of the way with strength and love from Heaven above. No one can understand her pain completely, nor can they understand the loss and heartache of your family. All we can do as "survivors" is reach out with an open ear and a warm hand. Thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice. Find my fiance, Cole; he will show you the ropes. God bless you all.
