Reflections for Detective John Raymond Weir
Rest in peace, brother. You fought a valiant fight and now it is time to rest. Take your place alongside all of the warriors of justice who have also been called Home to serve God in Paradise. Know that your service and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
As you take your post, watch over your family and keep them safe. Let them be comforted by knowing that your battle is over and you will rest now. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.

What a long fight this fine officer had. He is safe in heaven now protecting his family and brothers and sisters in blue. Godspeed.

May God bless and comfort Detective Weir's wife, children, family, and friends. I can not imagine what you have gone through these past 14 years because of the careless act of this murderer. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Psalm 55:22
