Rest in peace, brother. Your service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. Although you have been called Home early, your time here was well spent earning your place among all of the warriors of justice who are now serving the Almighty in Paradise.

Watch over your family and all of those you left behind and keep them safe. Help them to find strength to continue here until they are called to join you.

We will keep you, your family and the entire law enforcement community in our prayers. †

I HAVE A HERO....

I have a Hero,
This person is one who gets dressed for work each day just like everyone else
I have a Hero,
Who kisses their spouse and children before they leave for work not knowing if they will return at the end of the day to hold them once again
I have a Hero,
Who must confort the scared, console the troubled, and protect even the gulity
I have a Hero,
Who arrives to a situation where a child has been killed and must remember that the suspect has "rights"
I have a Hero,
That puts on a uniform each day with a vow to Serve and Protect
I have a Hero,
Who was killed in the Line of Duty today, and with him a part of America died
I have a Hero,
Who goes by the name of Police Officer....

May God Bless all of Our Fallen Brothers and Sisters in Blue. While we honor the lives of those no longer with us.-Your Brothers

The policeman stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining,
Just as brightly as his brass.

"Step forward now, policeman.
How shall I deal with you?
Have you always turned the other cheek?
To my church have you been true?"

The policeman squared his shoulders and said,
"No lord, I guess I ain't,
Because those of us who carry a badge
can't always be a saint."

I've had to work most Sundays,
and at times my talk was rough,
and sometimes I've been violent,
Because the streets are awfully tough.

But I never took a penny,
That wasn't mine to keep
Though I worked a lot of overtime
When the bills got just too steep.

And I never passed a cry for help,
Though at time I shook with fear.
And sometimes, God forgive me,
I've wept unmanly tears.

I know I don't deserve a place
Among the people here.
They never wanted me around
Except to calm their fear.

If you've a place for me here, Lord,
It needn't be so grand.
I never expected or had too much,
But if you don't I'll understand.

There was a silence all around the throne
Where the saints had often trod.
As the policeman waited quietly,
For the judgement of his god.

"Step forward now, policeman,
You've born your burdens well.
Come walk a beat on Heaven's streets,
You've done your time in hell"

Dear Beloved Spouse and Family Members of Officer Craig S. Herbert, Lawrence Police Dept.

My heart grieves every time I hear about a Keeper of Our Peace and Freedom dying and shedding his life blood in a Supreme Sacrificial Act of Love to Maintain Our Peace.

The dangers and pressures of their work with little thanks from the general public amazes me as to why they would do such a life work!

I pray always at TSEA for All Peace Keepers in the USA, Canada and all nations of the earth.

May the Blood of All Our Police Officers, and Soldiers Who Bravely Shed Their Blood for each and every one of us to Dwell In Our Land In Peace NEVER BE IN VAIN before any one of us...

Every Fallen/Slain Officer and Soldier Truly Is A Son of God, Our Creator.

They Loved Not their lives unto death, as "No Greater Love Has Any Man than to Lay Down His Life for His Friends or country, so our lives can be maintained.

God Bless You Richly In His Peace, Love and Healing as My Deepest Thanks to Officer Herbert Are Extended to You today and forevermore.

Love and Blessings Again of Our Creator to Hold You In The Palm of His Hands with His Angels Guard Over you Always!
