I am proud of you my sister in Blue. You have done your job, one that is seldom a thankless job. May you and your husband carry on the task of enforcing the deeds that so many would not undertake. God Bless you and your family. Thank you Mam. We go where most will not go. We see what most will not see. We do what most will not do and never will. You are a true hero and a credit to your family, friends and our society.

To Corey
I can only imagine the pain you are going through. I hope you will take comfort in knowing that Molly’s love for you will live on forever. You and your sons will be in my prayers and I promise that Molly’s memory and sacrifice will not be forgotten.

To Cody & Brandon
I hope some day you will understand how special your step-mom was. She got to pick her boys and you helped give her life meaning. Know that your step-mom died protecting freedoms most people take for granted. As you grow up, never question your step-mom’s love for you. She died doing her very best to make the world you will grow up in a better, safer place.

To my brothers and sisters of the Columbia Police Department
My heart goes out to all of you. Go forward with the knowledge that you are filling in the gap of the Thin Blue Line left by Molly’s death. I know you will carry on the mission because, like Molly, you know how important your role is in keeping our communities safe.

Molly, it takes courage each day to put on that badge and gun belt...it takes even more courage for you to kiss your husband and children goodbye, knowing that you may not make it home to kiss them in the morning. To the family of Officer Bowden, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers, you know all too well how quickly things can happen. To the Law Enforcement family, you too are in our hearts. Stay strong, and take heart in knowing that she is in good company now, watching over you all and helping to keep you safe.

Officer Bowden, you are 10-7 ma'am, good night, God bless.

Sadness for the loss of a hero by Hailey Wright

Molly you will always be remembered for the beautiful person you were inside as well as throughout. You were always there for me, for your friends others that is something that will always be precious to your hearts, carried with us and will never ever forget about. So ambitious, strong-willed, so compassionate I do remember that. I can't forget the smile on your face in the halls of Hickman High School I remember it to this day. Memories in my heart and others will never go away. I love you my friend Molly and never forget words spoken especially today. I would like to send my heart out and condolences to you, your family, more of your friends, and The Columbia Daily Police Department. I have faith you are resting in Gods arms peacefully. God Bless you my friend.

Words cant express the sadness I have in my heart. I find solidarity in knowing that heaven is a better place with your presence and that I have my own personal angel riding shotgun. I will miss your smile and how you would always laugh at my stupid jokes in shift meeting. You were always "just one of the guys" and will always hold a special place in my heart.

PO Bowden, what an example of courage and valor! God bless you for your service. On behalf of the entire membership of the FBI Agents Association, I send my sincere condolences to the husband, family, friends and fellow officers of PO Bowden. She died far, far too young! I pray that her husband and family will find the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, during this time of loss. Romans 13:4 NIV

You have traded in your many "cop hats" for a shiny new halo. How efficient you must have been to have fininshed your work on earth so soon! You will be missed.

To the Bowden and Thomas Families: You are in our thoughts and prayers. God be with you in these troubled times.

Your sacrifice has not gone unnoticed, even to those of us who serve overseas. I've witnessed amazing valor in my life, here in Iraq, at Ground Zero, and on the street.... Yours is no different. May all the angels in heaven embrace you.

Molly, my dearest Molly. You were a true warrior and brave soul. It is with great sadness that each day we look over to where you should be during shift meeting and realize your smile and upbeat personality will not join us in person. You fought a good fight and your memories will last with us forever. You have made each of us a better person by touching our lives. Thank you for that. May you rest in peace dear sister, we love you.
