To Molly's parents and husband-
I want to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. It certainly was not unexpected by our Lord tho, He has His children in His hands, and what a comfort that is -at least later when you can think clearly.
My friend moved 20 yrs ago to Mo. Last month she wrote me about Molly and I have followed her life since. My friend's son went to the university with Molly, and her son was my son's friend also. Only connection we have to you, but there is a connection eternally in that we are all believers in eternal life through our Lord Jesus Christ. May He comfort you, bless you, guide you and wipe your tears in your sorrow. In Christ, Nancy

"I Can Only Imagine"
by MercyMe
from their 2001 album, Almost There
I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk
By Your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes will see
When Your face
Is before me
I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory, what will
my heart feel
Will I dance for You Jesus or in awe
of You be still
Will I stand in Your presence or to
my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able
to speak at all
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
When that day comes
And I find myself
Standing in the Son
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever
Forever worship You
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
Surrounded by Your glory, what will
my heart feel
Will I dance for You Jesus or in awe
of You be still
Will I stand in Your presence or to
my knees will I fall
Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able
to speak at all
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
When all I will do
Is forever
Forever worship You
I can only imagine
You need imagine no longer.
Thank you, Molly, for your love of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the One True God, who died for us all that we - YOU - can live on forever in more than just our memories.
"His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." Mt 25:21

Molly,
I am very proud of you and your brothers and sisters at CPD. I have worked beside the officers at CPD as a UHC paramedic and have never known a better group. All of you are in my prayers.
I was there the night you were shot and I am so very sorry that I could not do more to help you. In my 12 years as a paramedic, I have never had anything touch me this way. I feel my life and career will never be the same. You will forever be in my thoughts.
You are a hero, as well as all of the other officers at Columbia Police Department. I am honored to have the chance to work with all of you.
Also, I just want to say that you will be missed by all of us at the University of Missouri Ambulance Service.

In loving memory of Officer Molly: I
have read every reflection and read
all the articles from the Missourian.
You are a beautiful person, inside &
out. I loved your wedding photo. I
am so sorry for the loss not only your Mom & Dad, brother, and niece are
feeling, but also the depth of grief
that your husband and his 2 sons are experiencing. Your death has
left a canyon of grief for all those who
knew you and for those who worked
with you and loved you. I am thankful
you knew Jesus as your Savior. One
thing that distresses me the most is
the fact that people think they can get
to Heaven by being good. If that were
so, then Jesus Christ died in vain.
Without a Savior there is no salvation. And without salvation we
are all condemned to hell forever.
Who wants to go spend eternity with
your killer? No, I'll choose to spend
eternity with Jesus and you! I look
forward to meeting you there one day
where eye has not seen, nor ear
heard what the Lord has planned
for those who love Him. Until then,
may God comfort all those who mourn your tragic death. Your life
was very sweet and that's what we
will choose to remember.

Molly leave it to you to teach one more lesson to fellow officers before going to your beat to cover in heaven. The CPD & MUPD now know that even in Columbia always be careful when you answer any call or make any traffic stop. There are evil people when you least expect them. Thank you for protecting the citizens of Columbia & the students of Mizzou.
