Just wanting to thank you for your service and sacrifice 131 years ago today. You would be amazed aqt how different things are now, but you would still be a cop and would go with the job.
Keep an eye on the troops down here.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundred and thirty first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

On this the 129th anniversary of your passing, we honor you for your work. Things have changed a LOT in the last 129 years - and officers are still dying in the line of duty. Someday, maybe we will stop that. Until then, lead them in the ranks of officers in Heaven.
Thank you for your sacrifice so many years ago!
