hi scott!

saturday was the 8th annual bob stanze golf tournament. we all had a lot of fun! sorry, i couldn't make yours a short time ago. hopefully next year. of course, my brother was the usual m.c. for the day. he was a little bit toasted towards the end!

ryan turned 5 yesterday. hard to believe!! remember when i dragged you to the hospital when sue was in labor w/ him and then he ended up being born right after we left the hospital??!!!

well, i just wanted to check in. i spoke w/ mary a few days ago. she ran into one of my friends here at work on her honeymoon.

I was just thinking about you today because St Louis City lost another one. You would think the pain would be gone but here I am again with tears in my eyes over you senseless loss. I guess the most dishearteny thing is it seems that the sacrifice you made has pretty much been forgotten by the department you loved so much. I guess it is easier for them to just move on then recognize the problems there are. What a shame no one can even take the time to type a big THANK YOU, but I guess we have become to expect that. (SO SAD!!!!!!!!!!!) I just wanted you to know you may be gone but you will never be forgotten and you will always be my hero who gave it all!!!!!

Please watch over Matt, Scott, Todd,Carrie and all during this most difficult time and set back, they are sure going to need it. I just keep wondering when it is all going to end (set back after set back). The only postive is I guess now you will now have someone else up there on your side and strength is better in numbers in watching over them and keeping them SAFE.

As you well know today has been a rough day all together. Please welcome my dad into heaven, and let him know how much we all love him so much and miss him already. I never in my wildest dreams imagined I would be going through first the loss of you, and now the sudden and tragic death of my dad. Although not quite on the same level, as with you dad died doing what he truely loves.

Welcome him with open arms, I am comforted in knowing that you, Mac, Jesse, and granny and grandma are there to guide him.

Thank you for surely being with him in the middle of the morning when god decided it was his time.

As always, watch over me, we all know I need it

hi scott!!!!

guess what??? gonna be an aunt again!!!! due date is march 18th, but it would be great to have a little irish st. patrick's day neice or nephew!!! sounds like morgan is getting big!! jim got transferred to intelligence yesterday, so you, bob, nick, etc... need to keep an extra good eye on him. going to my high school reunion tonight. yeah, you know how many years, and i know i will always be older than you!!! somehow, you never let me live that down.

Three years ago yesterday you were making a speech at my wedding. You got to the reception before Matt and I did and you gave out keys to all the girls there without Matt and I knowing. You said in your speech since Matt has married you little sister all the girls that had a key to your house had to give it back. Every girl at the reception walked up to Matt and handed a key back to him. I think you left Matt speechless from that and we all know that is hard to do. You were such a goof ball and always made me laugh.

It has been a while since I have written.

Was in DC with Matt, April, Angela and your parents in May. It was as usual a week of remembrance. April had this incredible picture of Morgan that she put on the wall. Morgan was leaning over your grave stone with her eyes closed and her head hung low. It was so overpowering.

Speaking of Morgan we had her 1st birthday party Saturday. She is such an amazing little girl. She is so beautiful. I have taken her swimming a couple of times. I know you would be as proud of an uncle as I am of her.

Well keep an eye out over everybody.
