Maybe something better I suppose. I guess I have to wait
till I see you to find out; to bad thats not today huh.
Bryce is with the guys at Area 51 for the next week. Micky and I miss him, we are happy for him though. He said, he would take lots of pitures for us. I'm sure you are with them watching over everything...have fun!

A meaningful poem, NEVER forget our heros:
An Angel In The Sky Must Leave His Place Of Rest,
Gently Tucking His Wings Beneath His Armored Vest.
For Duty Has Called, There Is Much Work To Do
Little Did He Know, This One Is Dressed In Blue.
Arriving On The Scene, He Knows Just What To Say,
"Follow Me, Fallen Brother, I'll Show You The Way."
"Your Duty Has Ended, Your Work Is Now Through."
"Come Hang Your Hat Beside Mine, I'm A Cop, Too."

Hi Sweetheart, Missing you as always!!!
Well we made it through the 9th together; each of us holding one onther up so we can stand strong in honor of your great srength! No surprise, that you have not been forgotten by a great number of people. You truely amassed many friends in your life time, each loves you like you loved them! I know you knew that before you were taken from us. Eachday that we are forced to be away from
you gows harder, it tests our strength and resolve; we hope you are proud of us.
We work together to find happiness, though we know the best happiness will come when we see you again!!! We will never let you down, we will live good productive lives in honor of the great example you showed us and many others. we love you as you know beyond words. You are in my every thought
and every action , Thank you love you Soul Mate

Till We Meet Again
By Danielle White
When the time has come for me to go
I have a few things I'd like you to know
Don't grieve for me nor shed a tear
Remember the good times shared when I was here
My mission here must have been complete
So I'll follow the path and take my seat
The one that was made especially for me
When my body is useless and my soul set free
For I will be in a better place
Can you imagine the smile upon my face
Finally at peace, no worries at all
I, too, will hear you when you call
You say dear Lord I miss his touch
Never realized I loved him so much
And even though you'll miss me my friend
This is not goodbye
It's just till we meet again.

Howie,
I tried leaving a message last night. I found myself unable to type. Two years or two minutes, it's hard to tell. It seems like it just happened. Four of us are in training in San Luis Obispo. CSTI, Officer Safety and Field Tatics. How ironic is it that we were at the night range last night. Hearing the gunfire and playing out the senerios while thinking back to two years ago, I can tell you I was on a whole new level of intensity. I made mistakes, but I learned from them. It was hard being away from my wife and the rest of my CPD family last night. The four of us stuck together and made the best of it. I miss you brother.

I can't believe two years have passed. It seems like it was only yesterday the "11-99" came over the radio.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
We'll never forget.

Two years have passed and I know you have been thought of every hour of every day during that time. Your love will always burn in the hearts of your loved ones. Keep watch over them, protect them and also those still out on patrol. You will never be forgotten as you are a true hero and heroes never die.
