Bryan,

I don't think there has been a day that has gone by since I rode in your memory with the police unity tour that I have not thought of you. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you, your family and friends.

Just thinking of you today. I just found out I am getting promoted and switching branches. At first I was not going to leave my safe bank branch b/c I was scared of something bad happening. But then I realzed you went down fighting and If I don't go and turn down this promotion as a branch manager then I would not be fighting and giving up instead. You did not give up on us that day and b/c of that I have to suck it up and go on and take the job. I can't let one bad person hold me back. Please keep an eye out on my branch. Thanks again,

~H~

Dear Bryan,
As the horror of Officer Joshua Miktarian is played over and over on tv, I relive the horror of January 6,2005. There are so many similarities. Please welcome Officer Miktarian into heaven and send blessings to his wife and young daughter. You will forever be a hero and missed. Continue to watch over all of us from above. Keeping you close to my heart forever.

Love,
Sherri

Bryan,

Sorry I havent wrote lately. Wanted to let you know that Jim Gilbert had a plaque made up to commemorate your shadowbox. We are going to have it placed in the FOP bar, that way everyone can have a beer with you while they are there.

I'm sorry to hear the bank is closing. If they want to dedicate that picture and plaque to the FOP, I'll ask Jim to see if it can be portrayed next to our shadowbox. You'll be the first one to have their own wall in the bar. Anyway, I'll do better to keep in touch.

Rest in peace brother, we'll get it from here!!

Bryan
As Rob told you, I took your picture and plaque from Canyon Center.
I am going to give both of them to him.
He is going to keep the plaque and he is going to hang your picture next to your uniform at the FOP office.
Canyon Center closed but that doesn't mean that we will forget what you did for us.
We will never forget your sacrifice.
Keep us safe from up above.
Until we meet again...

Bryan-

Stopped at the cemetery the other day! It had been a long time since I had been there. You have such a presence even there. The reflections seem to be far and few between, but don't think any of us have forgotten you. Thank you so much for giving yourself for us! You are my hero! Rest gently!

Bryan,

The bank is moving out of the Canyon Center branch on June 14th. We have continued working there since the day that you gave your life in an effort to continue to protect those that you protected so well. The customers who frequent that branch continue to remember you and talk about you and what you did for everyone... and how you are a hero. We will not be hired for special duty down the road with the bank when they go, but the employees have given their word that just because it is a different location they will never forget what you gave for them and the customers. Since the building will be sold at Broad and McNaughten we have taken down your plaque and picture so it will not be lost. The customers already miss it and ask where it has gone. Just remember....nobody has forgotten and we never will.

Well the benefit went pretty well. Marissa showed some skills and made the final table. We dedicated your shadowbox to the FOP and hopefully we'll be putting it in the bar. I felt that would be a better location for it. Now all of us can have a beer with you when we go in there. Plus whenever civilians use our facility they'll be reminded of your sacrifice and dedication to duty.

I attended the appeals hearing for Darryl Lawrence. It was impressive to see the officers, family and attorney presence to let the judges know how much this meant for us. We will do all we can to make sure justice is served from your death. A few hours after our return, two of our NTAC officers were shot. It was just another reminder of how difficult and dangerous our job is getting to be. Continue to watch over us all.

Rest in peace brother, we'll get it from here!!

Bryan, Sorry I missed leaving a message on your birthday. I'm working on having a "show of presence" at the appeals hearing next week in Cincinnati. We will be praying the right thing is done in their decision!!! Keep watching over us...
