Your heroism and service is honored today, the 5th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

I wish I had something profound to say, but I don't. This has been the saddest year of my life. I spent a summer in Catano in 1971 and fell in love with a guy in the coast guard. That seems like a thousand years ago now. I will think of your family on the l6th and remember your sacrifice of your life.
