Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Brandy Lyn Winfield
It's almost that day again, buddy. I hate it every year. I take a lot of comfort knowing you're at peace and knowing that I'll see you again one day. Still miss you every day. Love you, brother.

Brandy,
You were a great person and a great friend to my brother Larry and everyone you knew. It's hard to believe that it's been 8 years. I know you are missed greatly by your friends and family. You touched so many lives when you were here. I have heard a lot of stories from my brother about you. He has told everyone you were his best friend and that he could talk to you about anything. You made a great impact in his life as well as a lot of others. You are missed and loved by so many. R.I.P. Brandy.

Bran,
Thinking of you very much today. Eight years ago our lives were changed forever. You left us all behind and we miss you so much. We know you are at peace and we are very greatful for that. So much has changed since you left.Your boys are growing into great young men and you would be very proud of them. Landon is 11 now and he is a spitting image of you. He looks and acts just like you and has become a great little bowler like his father. Tyler is quite the athlete and he is 9 now and he favors Sara alot. He has alot of his uncle Cory's athletic ability. We are very proud of both of then and we know you would be too. We thank god every day for them. They mean so much to us!! You are our hero and we are so greatful that we had you for 29 years. We have wonderful memories.

I recently responded to a broken down motorist on I75 in Kentucky. When the man walked up, I asked him if he needed a ride to which the man said yes and presented his drivers license. I told the man I didn't need it and that he looked ok. The man preceded to tell me about happened to Deputy Winfield and that I should always call it in on the radio. Im a 13 year veteran and I will always remember what he said. I will tell all my fellow officers and make sure they call out and check id before giving assistance as well.

Cannot believe it has been 7 years. You are still loved and miss so much by everyone that knew you.
As you know, I am still working on both of our projects. Both have had a lot of progress but I have kinda hit a brick wall, one more than the other, so a little help would be appreciated!
Thinking of you always........

It,s been seven years since you was taken from us and the tears of sadness flow as much now as they did then. If we could just hold you in our arms, feel your heart beat against our chest, see your infectious smile just one more time we would trade our lives for that one moment. It still feels like it was yesterday and you live in our hearts forever. You would be so proud of the boys and how grown up they have became. You live through them.
Missing you terribly

As I sit here at work, looking out the window, I see I-70. Just on the other side of this road, is Enon Beach. I watched as about 20 Police vehicles, lights flashing, are driving past on their way to Officer Hoppers funeral. It made me think of you. It brought back all of the sorrow and emotion from 10.14.04. You are still missed just as much today and thought of so often. Please watch over everyone today and help to send peace. Your family will always be in my prayers.
