To all Family, Friends, and Co Workers of this Officer:

On Behalf of myself, and the Family of Police Officer Daniel Starks (Ft Myers Fl, E/O/W 10-25-03) we want you to know that you are all in our prayers! The Lord will sustain you as you go through this difficult, and trying time, but just remember your loved one is being cared for in Heaven, and is now eternally safe. We hope that you all remain as strong as possible, and know that we are all thinking of you. No words are quite ever adequate, but Police Officers make the ultimate sacrifice everyday, and our hope, and prayer is that they will always be remembered for their heroic efforts, and kind hearts.
Love,

I recently got cut loose from my FTO period. It is always sad when a fellow brother is lost but even more when the flame is extinguished just after it truly starts to burn. Rest in peace Angel, we'll take it from here.

I was Officer A. Barcena's FTO. In the short time we worked together, I learned alot about Andrew. Enough to know without any cast of doubt that If Officer Andrew Barcena would have known what the outcome of that call would be, he would have done it anyway.

I took the night off on the day Andrew was taken from us and only wish I would have been by his side. I am proud to have worked with officer Andrew Barcena, for I learned alot from him.

God bless you brother
