Hey Ron,

I turned around not to long ago and I swear I saw you standing in the door way with that classic smile of yours.

I miss you. Since you left us, we've lost too many from the SBSD. I bet you are all tearing it up up there.

Take care.

Ron-
Its soon approaching your 2 year anniversary since you left us, and as usual I am always thinking of you! You were a great friend and not a day goes by that I don't think about you. Well you know that my brother Anthony is now with the department out of West Valley and John is still out of Yucaipa, and I just ask for you to watch over and protect them both. You were always somone that I looked up to as well as alot of other people. Just keep a watchful eye on everyone and take all of the new deputy's under your wing and protect them! Love ya Ron and you are truely missed by many!

Dear Ron,

I just wanted to wish you a happy birthday. I think of you often as I drive by places that I have seen you working. I still expect you to unexpectedly pop in at my work to say hi. Take care and I miss you lots!

Miss ya pal, we think of you often! Look at the picture of all of us together everyday. See ya in heaven tell the man in charge we look forward to all our own arrivals! Hope you are having a blast riding a motor in heaven and I know the safety courses you are teaching to the kids there with you have made you one of the most popular COPS there.

See you at my first briefing with the lord.

If Heaven

If heaven was an hour, it would be twilight
When the fireflies start their dancin on the lawn
And suppers on the stove and mammas laughin
And everybodys workin day is done

If heaven was a town it would be my town
On a summer day in 1985
And everything i wanted was out there waiting
And everyone i loved was still alive

Chorus:
Dont cry a tear for me now baby
There comes a time we must all say goodbye
And if thats what heavens made of
You know i ain't afraid to die

If heaven was a pie it would be cherry
Cool and sweet and heavy on your tongue
And just one bite would satisfy your hunger
And hered always be enough for everyone

If heaven was a train it sure would be a fast one
That could take this weary travler round the bend
And if heavne was a tear it'd be my last one
And youd be in my arms again

Chorus:
Dont cry a tear for me now baby
There comes a time we must all say goodbye
And if that's what heaven's made of
You know i ain't afraid to die

Another year has come and gone and I still think about your smiling face and hugs full of love. You were an awesome role model for your peers, the community, and the children you came in contact with during the bike rodeo. Please keep watch over the other officers in the city during 2006. Miss you.

I worked with Ron at Rancho Cucamonga and in the early days at West Valley.
I miss Ron with all my heart. Ron was my friend. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him and his family. Same goes for Danny Lobo (EOW 10-11-05). I miss you Ron.

Brother Ives,

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Respectfully,
You’re Brothers in Blue

Happy Thanksgiving! Miss you. You're never forgotten.

November 23, 2005

Ron-
It is a few days before Thanksgiving and once again I find myself thinking about you! You know my brother from the jail when you worked together, and now he is out of Yucaipa. He will be working on Thanksgiving just like alot of these fine men and women, and I just ask you to please watch over them and take care of them as they are protecting us while we spend time with our familys and friends. God Speed Brother and take care of yourself!

Miss ya!!!! Give the rest of the boys a hug for us.

November 18, 2005

Ron,

I was supposed to take a bicycle enforcement class from you. On the day you died, I had been out purchasing a pair of bike gloves for the class. Later that day, I learned of your death. I wear those gloves everytime I work out. In rememberance of you.

November 7, 2005

Ron, you were an example of a perfect Deputy Sheriff. You are not forgotten and truly missed. Just like the locker room sign says, I remember how you were and take that on patrol every time I go 10-8.
