Your heroism and service is honored today, the 123rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Officer Fahle: In 2006 it is unthinkable for someone to lose their life because of a dog bite when it can be easily treated. But 118 years ago the technology wasn't there and I just think that is so sad. I am thinking of you today and remembering your sacrifice.
Thank you. Becky.

God saw the road was getting rough,
The hill was hard to climb.
He gently closed those loving eyes
And whispered, "Peace be thine."
The weary hours, the days of pain,
The sleepless nights are passed.
The ever patient worn-out frame
Has found sweet rest at last.
God saw that you were getting weary,
So he did what He knew best.
He came and stood beside you
And whispered, "come and rest."
Dear Patrolman Fahle,
Thank you for your protection and love for your fellow man. Please pray for us from above. You will never be forgotten and we will meet someday. We love you.
