hey, this is weird, but I will try anyway. I never had a chance to tell you bye, or how much you meant to me. I was suposed to protect you, but I failed. I miss you so much, & wish I could hear your laugh 1 more time. The thing I will remember the most about you, is your heart. You were just like dad, the way you touched peoples lives, & that is something that lives on in Raven. If I touch the lives of half as many people as you, I would haved lived a blessed life. You are always going to be with me, in my heart, mind, & soul. I hope that you are happy with what you see as you look down upon us. Love you always sis, Your big bro..

I remember the laughing after school, the serious discussions about boy crushes, and the hours and hours spent at your house with you, Cory, and I finding endless use with absolutely nothing to do. I remember as if it were yesterday. We laughed so hard we would cry, and those memories stay with me, especially when i see Raven. Its like looking at you, and it instantly takes me back. She is beautiful, strong, and loved...everything you are. I like everyone, wish for one more joyful conversation, one more day to reminisce, one more day to catch up on everything in our lives, one more day...i know you are in a wonderful place but i wanted to thank you. For the smiles, for the joy, for being you.

I wanted to stop and leave a reflection as I was thinking about you today. I remember the day you were called away from duty because my son was killed in the line of duty the day before you so he was there to greet you upon your arrival. My dearest Toya,
I miss you so much. Even today its still hard for me to talk to Summer because seeing her without you, I suddenly remember my girl is gone. To get through the grief I think of the fun times we shared. Times like when we were in the academy and you raced through the o.c.spray course giggling and smiling, and at the finish line you declared victory by giving a shout out "brooklyn in da house!!!".
