Brian,

Merry and Christmas don't really go good together in these types of situations, but...Merry Christmas Brian! Continue to keep watch over everyone from above.

Lorrie,

Thinking of all of you always. That's all I will say (you know how it goes). I can picture you smiling and agreeing. :) ;)

Officer Winder, while I didn't know you, I respect the sacrifices you made on a daily basis for your community. The job we do is very dangerous but we do not hesitate to put ourselves in the mist of others problems or run towards the trouble as others run away. I guess that's why they say it takes a special type of person to do our job. Thank you for your dedication, service and sacrifice. You are a true hero. Continue to look over us as we patrol the streets. You will forever be missed but you will never be forgotten. And To your wife, kids and others that truly miss you, continue to look to heaven for strength and know that God will continue to help you through your difficult time. May God continue to bless you all.

Brian I received a calendar in the mail this week from NLEOMF organization. To see you pictured on the July over is so overwhelming that I can't put it into words. How can I say it is a honor and I am so deeply proud of you and for you not to be here. You know how I feel and what I am trying to say. You were my hero and will always be. I know you are still with me. From my heart to yours I pray for peace on this earth. You are my calm in the mist of all storms. All my love to you at this hoiday season. Please continue to look out for your brothers and sisters in blue no matter what agency they work for. Peace be with you and all the other angels that walk the streets in heaven. Hello Bear I miss you always but this time of the year is very difficult in everyway. Brandon doing o.k. Football season is almost over. He plays his last game on Saturday. If they win they will continue on to the playoffs. He misses you being there and so do I. I had to learn the game so I could relate to what he was doing or not doing. I really enjoy watching him play and watching it on T.V with him. It isnot the same on Sundays without you watching it with us. Thank you for your signs to show me you are still near home watching over us. We will be at the candle light vigil on Sunday to recognize all the fallen heroes. It hurts to attend these cermonies but I am proud to stand there for you and all the other officers who have died in the line of duty. May God bless you all for the good you have done on this earth. Please continue to watch over us and pray for from above,

Love You Always Lulu

Hello Bear tomorrow is the 3rd of the month and Brandon's still not himself when this time of the month comes. Please help him to remember what he needs to in school and to focus. I know its not easy for his little mind because it's not for me. Your B-Day and the day after is coming fast. I don't know what to say about that. I am at a lost for words. Thank you for your continous signs to show me you are still with me and this little man of ours. Love you Lulu

Hey B, I was thinking of you and Byrd. It seems like this place will never be the same without you two. Continue to be our Angels, just from up above instead of here on earth. Help us restore the faith, strength and courage to face it out here on these dangerous streets that are not kind to us. Keep looking down on us and keep us between your wings. Stay in the hearts and minds of your family, they are always in my prayers.

HEY BRIAN,
JUST WANTED YOU TO KNOW I THOUGHT OF YOU AS THE 'BIG BROTHER' I NEVER HAD. WHEN I WAS YOUNGER YOU GAVE ME ALL OF YOUR NINTENDO GAMES AND I'LL NEVER FORGET HOW HAPPY I WAS. ITS BEEN 2 YEARS AND IT STILL BRINGS TEARS TO MY EYES TO KNOW YOUR GONE. SO FAR, THINGS HAVN'T CHANGED MUCH ON EARTH- PEOPLE ARE STILL CRAZY - BUT YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS CAN LOOK UP IN THE SKY AND KNOW YOU ARE WATCHING OVER US. ALTHOUGH YOU HAD A SHORT TIME ON EARTH WITH US, YOU ACCOMPLISH SO MUCH AND MADE SO MANY PEOPLE PROUD OF YOU. BEFORE MY TIME IS UP I HOPE I CAN HAVE THE SAME AFFECT ON PEOPLE AS YOU DID BECAUSE IT IS A ...BEAUTIFUL THING!!!

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN, TAKE CARE.....

Hey B,
I just happened upon this website by way of another page while I was trying to organize a motorcycle ride for 2007 in your name. We did one in 2004, on short notice, and the response I got from all who got involved, showed EVERYBODY that you were the person I knew you were. I still remember the ski trip up at Clark's Summit PA. How some of the people in the town didn't want us around, but didn't mind taking our money.

I tried to organize another ride in 2005, but the FOP stepped in and screwed it up for all of us. I started to draw up plans for a 2006 ride, but politics got in the way (election year BS) and my plans folded. 2007, if I have to personally knock on the Mayor and Commissioner's doors, I WILL get the Brian Winder Memorial Ride off the ground. The first ride, with only 3 weeks of planning, drew over 200 bikes. Man it was impressive.

Keep looking down on and protecting us.

Until we meet again,

Hello Bear Your son had a game Sat. He really misses you being there to see him practice and play. He always says I know dad is proud of me. That lets me know that he is keeping you with him in a spirital way. Please continue to guide him. It is showing that he is maturing in many ways but he is still a little boy in many ways. He asked me not to call him little anymore. Continue to look out for your brothers and sisters in blue and all over the country. The streets are getting worse and worse. I pray for you and all the other law enforcement officers and firefighters who lost their lives in 9/11. They will never be forgotten for their deeds of heroism and sacifice to try to save and protect others. Love Ya Lulu

Hello my bear well Brandon turned the big 11. He was so excited the night before he was restly. He said am I a pre teen now? He seemed to enjoy himself. It's unbelieveable not to have you here at speacial times like his B-Day and today a holiday. We are trying as hard as possible to deal with your absence. It is overwhelming. It seems like the hurt only gets deeper. Show your best friend Stan today in some way that you are with him also. This is his 1st wedding anniversary. He misses you
dearly. I see it in his eyes. He is one in a million. You couldnot have had a better person for a friend and God father for your sons. Your labor is never forgotten by me and others. You worked hard to make your small space in this world a better one. Your time here was too short. Your goals by human thoughts were not completed but they were completed with God. You did your job well. You forfilled your mission with God. I hope when my mission is filled, my job was done well as yours. We will never be apart in spirit and love. Absence of the body is very hard to accept. When you love someone so deeply, the love can never be separated. Although the body is not there to see it, the heart is there to hold it and the mind to remember it. All My Love LULU

Hello my Bear Brandon starts school tomorrow. He is a little nervous. He is really growing up. He looks at me sometimes and I see your smile. It is so amazing how much of you he has in him. Be with him to relax him tomorrow. I know you were with me yesterday on my B-Day. I got your sign though the song I heard on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Love and miss you so deeply. Keep watch over the Southwest district and the rest of the
Baltimore Police Officers. The streets are getting worse and worse. I continue to pray for their safety. All My Love LULU

Thank you Special Agent II Hector Roman. It is so refreshing and thoughtful of someone so far away to leave a message of love and caring to a family he doesn't know. I guest we in law inforcement and families are family in an indirect way and have a connection although we may never meet. May God bless you and keep you and the Puerto Rico law inforcement officers safe. Thank you for your caring message.
