Happy belated birthday 'B'...better late than never. Though I vividly recall you didn't tolerate lateness from your field trainees, especially to roll call. Miss you!

Well Brian, I can't wish you a Happy Birthday because you're not here with me, but I have to acknowledge that you would have been turning 49. I know you would have had a few gray hairs by now!!! Words cannot express how much I miss you and wish we could have had a chance to celebrate 23 years together as of tomorrow. I know you're still with me!!! Continue to look out for your sons and grandsons in this cruel world!!! I love you forever Bear and thank you for 11 wonderful years of marriage. Sending Hugs to Heaven!!!

I can't believe it's been 12 years you've been back home with the Lord. Oh how I miss your beautiful smile and how you used to joke around with the family. Coming down to see Auntie and the family was my special days, and you coming into the house with that big oh smile and open arms to squeeze so tight all I could do was laugh and tell you to let go............. But I loved every bit of it and I truly miss you cuz. The special talks will had will stay with me forever more.......

Keep watching over us cuz and I can't wait to see you again keep those arms open for me............

Brian, I read one of.the reflections a kind friend of yours wrote and asked, does time heal all wounds? The answer is no! The hurt I feel everyday as I see a reminder of you in the least little thing still hurts! I can say, when you have spiritual strength and belief in God you go on doing what needs to be done regardless of how your feeling inside. 10 years has allowed me to cope with the absence of you and accept the reality of you physically being in a better place. It has not closed the open wound of hurt that will stay with me until I see you again. God has given me the strength to endure everyday that has passed since July 3, 2004. I have nothing but good memories of you! You were my best friend and you left me with wonderful memories that help keep me going! Thank you for your two good friends who have been a true blessing these past ten years! May God bless them in every way for their sincerity, support, and kindness! Love you foreve!

Man, it's hard to believe 10 years has passed since Brian's passing. As fate would have it, i was fortunate to meet Brian when we worked off duty together at a popular Baltimore county restaurant. Talk about a consummate professional who could light up a room with that big smile, that was Brian! May you continue to rest in peace my friend, and thank you for your dedicated service.
