Your heroism and service is honored today, the 105th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Officer Cole,
On today, the 105th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of Mecklenburg County. I have to agree with the previous reflections left for you concerning your murderer-what a miscarriage of justice.

Officer Cole, over 100 years has passed since your murder, you are not forgotten brother. I can not understand why the murderer received such a ridiculous sentence of two years for what he did. Justice was not served in this case, but IM sure the murderer has long since got what he deserved. Rest easy now my Brother in Law, your watch on earth is over.
