RIP Gary. We have to respect these officers for what they do and as they leave for work realizing they may never return home to loved ones & family. The dangers they face, the situations they are involved in is one that many of us would never want to live.
It takes a strong willed and couragous person to accept the duties of a police officer.

Having been involved in my local Citizens Police academy and been on ride alongs with the officers, you earn a greater respect for these people and at the same time realize, they are just another guy like yourself with the same feelings and hobbies and I think Gary proved that to all of us.
My prayers go out to his family & close friends & fellow officers.
We all feel the pain of losing a buddy on Moparts
