Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
God Bless

I recall my Grandmother telling the story of the day when every able body farmer was called into service by the Spink County Sheriff to hunt down the man who killed the State Deputy and the Special Agent. My grandfather was one of the men who helped search and locate the suspect. My family farm was next to the farm where the officers where killed. My father was 7 years old and he said that until they found this killer no one was allowed to go outside. I am so glad that I found this memorial so I could share that people in my home town never forgot the sacrifice these two officers made for our country. I am have now been on the job for 27 years and when I go home to visit I think abou this day in my local history. My thoughts and prayers to you both. Captain RJ Osborn
