Reflections for Police Officer Isaac Anthony Espinoza
I am thinking of you and your fellow officers at this time.
God Bless You and your comrades of the SFPD.

There are but two persons who protect the sinful human race from destroying itself. One is God's Holy Spirit. The other is the Peace Officer. Without them, we would all perish at each other's hands.
You were called into this profession and our Lord and Savior has blessed you because:
According to Romans 13.1-5...
God ordains the Peace Officer’s profession.
The Peace Officer is sent by God.
The Peace Officer is vested with God's authority to enforce the law.
A Peace Officer's badge is to be honored by us, because it is honored by God.
To the family of Officer Isaac A. Espinoza and the San Francisco Police Department, your extended family of Law Enforcement Officers grieves with you during this time. I pray that God will wrap his loving arms around each of you and comfort you during this most difficult time.
To all my brothers and sisters, please remember the fallen officers we have lost. Remember the men and women who died trying to make this world a safer and better place for us all to live in. Please pray for this officer's family, agency, and friends as they struggle with this tragedy.
May God be with you every day, please remember, we are a part of the largest family in the world and when one hurts we all hurt.
You gave the ultimate sacrifice for your fellow man, your life, while serving, defending, and protecting others in your community.
Rest easy with our other fallen Brothers and Sisters, we have the watch now. Though our badges and uniforms may be different, our mission is the same. We will continue the fight in your honor.

Once again I am sitting at my computer, fighting the lump in my throat and tears in my eyes... Another warrior lost to the inexplicable force of evil. We all know that you are better than they are.
Rest in peace, brother. We have the watch now, and we will hunt your killer to the ends of the earth. To the ends of the earth...

I had the pleasure of working with Officer Isaac Espinoza when he first transfered to Bayview Station. He was a good Officer and friend. He always had a smile on his face and had a great sense of humor. I know Isaac will always be watching us from above, trying to keep us safe. God Bless your family. May you Rest In Peace. Isaac will not be forgotten.

My heart aches for the family of Officer Espinoza, I certainly know how it feels to loose a loved one in the Line Of Duty. My son was also killed with an AK-47 (ban these type guns). One in five police officers are killed with this type gun.
May God comfort this family and guide them through their grief. I will be praying for God's peace to touch them and hold them together, for God's love to shower them with light for tomorrow and forever. God Bless You

It is at times like this when a fellow officer is slain in the line of duty, that the words to say how I feel, somehow escape me. My prayers go out to Officer Espinoza and his family. Know that god has made a place for him at his table and he will be looking down on you from heaven.
Other than the Espinoza's family, the city of San Francisco has lost a great person and Officer. May he rest in peace!

My heart goes out to the wife and daughter of Isaac A. Espinoza, as well as all coworkers, friends, and family of the great man. I was fortunate enough to know him, being the daughter of Wendy Hurley #61 of Bayview Police Station. He was always the life of the party when ever my mom would have Isaac and other friends over; he had such an ability to make people laugh and smile. He will never be forgotten, and he definitely didn't deserve to die that way. You'll be in our hearts and missed forever; we love you Isaac.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family and fellow officers of PO Espinoza.
While I did not have the privilege to have known him personally, I am certain that he has found a place in heaven. Rest in peace my friend; those of us who remain will cover your post on the thin blue line.

May God be you and bless your family. Off. Espinoza, you are truly one of Americas Heros. Every time an officer goes down, it saddens our hearts. We are all brothers in blue, and we all feel hollow inside. But rest assured, we will remember, and we will carry on. I only hope that the man responsible will pay for this atrosity.
God Speed , We have the watch now, Rest my brother, for you deserve it.

I stop by this website often after the death of two dear friends with the NCSHP (Troopers Calvin Taylor E.O.W. October 3, 2001 and Anthony Cogdill E.O.W. May 30, 2003).
Unfortunately, I had to add the name of another friend. Deputy Jeffrey Hewitt, Buncombe County (NC) Sheriff’s Department, E.O.W. April 4, 2004.
I am saddened to see the death of another very young officer. We all grieve over the lives lost in the line of duty. I hope you can find some comfort knowing that there are countless prayers that go out for your family.
These are senseless tragedies that never seem to stop. God Bless the men and women who continue to serve their communities in our great Nation.
