To Officer Lizarraga, Familys, Friends & Co-workers:
Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you all. We know your hurt and pain, for one year ago on this same day, we lost my brother Officer Glenn H. Hicks. We will remember you alway's in our prayers, and pray that God will give you the help and strength you need to get through this hard time, as he has us. I would like to say thanks to all our fallen HERO's, who have made the ultimate sacrifice. God Bless Them All.

At the beginning of every shift I supervise, myself and the other officers on shift dedicate the day to the memory of a fallen officer.

Today, February 21, 2004 we dedicated the shift to the memory of Police Officer Ricardo Lizarraga who died in the line of duty just yesterday.

When one law enforcement officer falls, we all stumble for a while, but we will carry on.

Officer Lizarraga's sacrifice will never be forgotten.

May God bless his biological and department family in this time of tragedy. A young officer with so much to offer the city, cut down in this tragic display of violence. Will we really ever understand it?
