Your heroism and service is honored today, the 89th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

For Deputy Sheriff Frank Moore:
The basic duty of law officers has not changed since 1922 when Frank Moore pinned on a badge and seeked to apprehend a killer. He took a bullet that day and his stalwart partner was able to take out the shooter and knock him dead. This should be the way all police officer slayings should end if they must happen at all.
As a retired state trooper and a retired deputy sheriff I am indeed proud of both Deputy Sheriff Frank Moore and his partner. They are the models for modern day law men who strive to rid the country of rats and vermin who would kill a cop. Both of these men are as much heros today as in they day they kept America safe.
I am proud to render Deputy Sheriff Frank Moore a hearty and final salute.
