To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 91rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Officer Jones,
I can hardly believe no one has left any reflections for you, so I will be honored to do so myself. Your name is carved next to my fiance's on the Wall in Washington, D.C. I hope the two of you have become "neighbors" in Heaven as your names have on the Wall. Thank you for your sacrifice. God bless your family even though you had to leave so long ago.

There is no excuse for the absence of a reflection for a fallen hero . . . murdered while protecting his community. Although nobody from your agency or your community has remembered you at this sacred site Officer Jones, know that your extended blue family honors you. With brotherly love and utmost respect, Jim Crotty (Former Richmond, VA Police Officer.)
