Wally I still miss you very much and think of you everyday. Just wanted to let you know we won the Mc**** trial. We spent so much time working on that case. It was very hard to go through it without you. I wish you were here to celebrate the victory. You must have been looking out for us because it was not easy. We spent many days away from home on that one did'nt we. I will never forget you kid.

Went to the graduation party today, lots of fun. I know they were wishing you were there and missing you lots. You have a great family and they are all very close.They were dancing and singing. Something tells me you were there when the balloon popped in the basement and the door slammed shut! you are sneaky like that, I've heard stories! I was a British police officer for 32 years and retired four years ago although now work as a consultant within the police family. The older of our two sons has been a British police officer for eleven years and is just four years younger than Wally.

My heart aches whenever I visit ODMP and read of the tragic loss of a fellow police officer but never more so than when I visit and read Wally's 'Reflections'. From the date of his murder I felt compelled to leave a message but did not want to intrude on your grief. However, I visit these 'Reflections' regularly, read the notes and grieve for a man I never knew but have grown to admire so much. Tonight the urge to leave a message was just too strong to resist so here I am.

I just want you to know that whilst we have never met, and will never meet, my thoughts and prayers have been with you since this awful event and will remain with you and your daughters.

I haven't wrote in a while so i wanted to say hi. I also want to wish u HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!! You were an awesome dad and no one is ever going to forget that! Just so you know my team finished 5th in state. Not to great but not bad for all the good teams out htere....so im definitely only a slapper now! you cant make fun of me for being slow anymore! even thoughg you are prolly up there laughing at the fact that i still look funny when i run! well we had a long weekend and im tired so im gunna get to bed!!
