Well kid getting ready for nicoles birthday . I can't believe she'll be 17 soon .It seems like we just had her.I remember the first time we got to hold her she was so tiny.I wish we could go back in time I would change every thing that happened you . The man with the smile as I would call Wally while we were stationed together in Alaska. Wally always had a way to make me smile and helped me make it through my year of a remote tour of duty at Galena. He will be greatly missed but will always have a place in my heart. Thank you Wally for being a big brother to me at a time when I needed it the most. To his family, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Reading these post, I am overcome with sadness and the deepest regrets for the Rolniak family. I know this is a hard loss that many of us can not relate to, but we must all do our best to remember Wally as the good person and officer that he was. I regret that I didn't get involved in the community earlier because I probably would have been given the priviledge to have been able to know him as, I do other Riverdale policemen and women. I am 15 years old and I am aware that his presence is greatly missed in and around the village. He was a hero that has fallen, but will never be forgotten.
