A Message from Heaven.
Perhaps you aren't ready to yet to have to say good-bye.
Perhaps you've thoughts of things you wish you'd said well, so have I.
For one thing I'd have told you not to worry about me I am with the Lord in Heaven now, you knew that's where I'd be. I am sorry that you are feeling sad for I am so happy now......
I've asked the Lord to ease the hurt and comfort you some how it's hard at the beginning, but I know you will make it through.
I hope it helps to know that I'll be waiting here for you. May it comfort you to know that your loved one is with the Lord.
To the family of Officer Walker and to the Prattville Police Dept. Please accept my sincere condolences. May God bless you all.

To the family of Officer Walker, another officer has left us and is being greeted at Heaven's Gate by many fine officers nationwide who had to pay the ultimate price, including my brother, officer C.R. Betts. I pray for your family, especially the wife of Officer Walker. May healing start soon and remember there are a lot of people out there willing to help you, including the law enforcement agencies.
To the officer who accidently shot Officer Walker, may you find peace in yourself and don't put all the blame on yourself, it isn't your fault, it was only by accident. I pray for you to find the peace you need.
May everyone find the peace they need as you deal with the next steps.

To the Family of Officer Walker,
I am so sorry to hear of this great loss. I pray that God give you strength to get through this. Concentrate on the loss of a great man and not on the accident. While it is tough to accept ,remember that something that has no value cannot be lost and that only cherished and valued things will be missed when they are gone.

RIP-
THE POLICEMAN'S LAST ROLL CALL ...
THE POLICEMAN STOOD AND FACED HIS GOD, WHICH MUST ALWAYS COME TO PASS. HE
HOPED HIS SHOES WERE SHINING, JUST AS BRIGHTLY AS HIS BRASS. "STEP FORWARD
NOW, POLICEMAN. HOW SHALL I DEAL WITH YOU? HAVE YOU ALWAYS TURNED THE OTHER
CHEEK? TO MY CHURCH HAVE YOU BEEN TRUE?"
THE POLICEMAN SQUARED his shoulders and said, "No, Lord, I guess I ain't.
Because those of us who carry badges can't always be a Saint. I've had to
work most Sundays, and at times my talk was rough, and sometimes I've been
violent because the streets are awfully tough. But I never took a penny that
wasn't mine to keep, though I worked a lot of overtime when the bills just
got to steep. And I never passed a cry for help, though times I shook with
fear. And sometimes, God forgive me, I've wept many unmanly tears. I know I
don't deserve a place among the people here, they never wanted me around
except to calm their fear. If you've a place for me Lord, it needn't be so
grand. I never expected or had too much, but if you don't, I'll understand."
There was silence all around the throne where the Saints had often trod. As
the policeman waited quietly, for the judgement of his God. "Step forward
now, policeman, you've borne your burdens well. Come walk a beat on Heaven's
streets, you've done your time in hell."
