Well Russ, I am now living in Texas. Couldn't stay in Bandon anymore. Like I told you guys, I am not leaving you. You are always with me. Saw a video of someone making French Onion soup with a significant cheese pull on top - made me think of you and how much you enjoyed that soup when we'd go out to lunch at Boatwork's when it was on the jetty -same jetty where you lost your life while selflessly saving another. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 8th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
