Your heroism and service is honored today, the 80th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
I am glad your family found his site and was able to leave a reflection for you. The devastating loss of a father to eight children is heartbreaking. Your poor widow had a lot to cope with and I hope life was kind to her and her family.
Rest In Peace

John Fowler was my grandfather. I was born in 1942. So, I never knew him. But, his memory was passed down by my father, his son, James Dalton fowler.
