"One thing I know: the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who will have sought and found how to serve." Abert Schweitzer
To the loved ones, friends, and brothers and sisters of the badge of Deputy Weaver, I offer my heartfelt condolences.
Bless him for choosing to serve his community. It's a hard job, and he must have wanted very much to serve. You'll probably never know all the ways he touched people's lives in his work, and all the actions he took to try and make his community a better place to live, but have no doubt that he did make it a better place. Every time he went on duty, every mile he patrolled, every call for help that he answered he made our world a little better. He did not lose his life-he gave it.
Bless you also, because it's hard on those who wait at home, and now the life of service that he chose has claimed his life. Nothing can replace your officer, but I pray that the memories you have of him in happier times will help to ease the pain you're feeling now.
I believe that Heaven holds a special welcome for those who give their lives in service. He is safe now, and watches over you still, until you meet again.
Deputy Weaver will never be forgotten for the hero that he is.

I just heard about this story on our local news. I was saddened to hear that we lost another emergency response team member. It takes courage and bravery to do the job that many of you do. Now you are an officer in heaven, God speed.
To the family, you are in mine, as well as many other's prayers as you go through this awful time. Hang in there.
