Thank you for giving all to protect the people of NY. I grew up in the area you served and still have many family members and friends there. I rest easy knowing that there are Troopers like you willing to risk thier lives everyday to protect and serve the people of NY.

My heartfelt condolences to the Edelson family, and Trooper Edelson's co-workers. What a terrible loss for you and the New York State Police. Your son/brother was taken too soon, but he certainly left his mark while here, serving so professionally and courageously as a trooper. I'm sure he had touched many lives both on and off duty.
You will forever be taken care of by the New York State Police Family, and know that your son/brother will never be forgotten.

I am saddened to see another officer added to this memorial, Our agency too has lost a dear friend and Lt. in an accident also, our condolences go out to the friends co-workers and family for your loss.
