Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Kevin Michael Sherwood
May God be with your family, friends and department during this time. Knowing that Sheriff Sherwood devoted his life to serving others showes what kind of human being his was. May the rest of our officers stay safe. God Bless.

I am not from Florida but I feel the loss of a great public servant who is a true hero. Not only has your town and city lost a great hero but this is yet another sad loss to our nation as a whole.
I wish I could line up all of our public servants and tell them how much they mean to me and how much I appreciate what they do for me. I thank you Deputy Sheriff Kevin Sherwood for giving of yourself. I will pray daily for your family, friends and all those who loved and worked side by side with you. I honor you and praise you and I know you are at rest with God along side all the heroes that have left us.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the family and fellow officers of Deputy Sherwood.
While I did not have the privilege to have known him, I am certain that he has earned his seat in heaven. Rest in Peace my friend, those of us who remain will cover your post on the thin, blue line.

To Deputy Sherwood's family,
Two years ago last Friday, I was feeling that same horrible, empty, what do I do next feeling that you must be feeling this evening. No it doesn't get easier but you do learn to deal with things in a way that you can live with. After all...wouldn't your loved one want you to keep going on and be as happy as you can be? May heart breaks for you and my prayers will include you as you begin this long lonely journey through the rest or your life without Deputy Sherwood. Remember the wonderful times you had together and at least the scum that caused his death will never harm another. God Bless You.

Heart felt sympathies to the family, friends, and fellow brothers and sisters of the Sheriffs Dept. We can never understand these tragedies that take our LEO's away, but
we know for whatever reason, GOD needed a special angel in heaven. Fly high free eagle in the glory of God, and watch over us daily. God Bless

Deputy Sherwood was a fine police officer that I had the honor of working with. Kevin was proud and dedicated to his work and was an outstanding police officer. He was a credit to his department and he will be greatly missed. Kevin Sherwood will be remembered for his courage and sacrifice for his neighbors and community. Candles will be light this day in honor of Deputy Kevin Sherwood, Clare Country Sheriff Dept.

To the family and co-workers of Deputy Sherwood, our deepest sympathy in the loss of your officer.
Such a senseless tragedy. We don't know why things like this happen. I think the hard part is having to accept how he died in the "Line of Duty".
Just know that we are with you in heart and prayers will go out for your family.
God bless.
