Reflections for Sergeant Jason "Tye" Pratt
Those of us who are still fighting the good fight will NEVER allow the memories of our fallen brothers and sisters be forgotten or tarnished. May God hold your family in his arms and shower them with love. RIP brother!
Patrolman Kenny Emshoff

Jason, if you can see this message from where you are now you know who this is from. This from me, your friend, to you.
I am still trying to figure out why you were taken from us. I am very sad and angry. I will never forget the first time I spoke with you. I will never forget hours we spent together in the cruiser. The calls we handled the arrests we made. You were like family to me, a brother. You looked after me and I looked after you. I wish I was with you on September 11th, 2003. Maybe there was nothing that I could have done to have prevented this tragedy; but at least I would have been by your side at the end.
There hasn't been a day that has passed since that night that I haven't thought of you. The time I spend in the cruiser is the hardest. Every place I go in it I remember the calls we handled and traffic stops we made together. Your spirit lives in my memory. I miss you.
Your Friend

Tye was a great person, and cousin to me. He was always an aggressive man, strong, and very loving. He was a great father who loved Madi, Jodyn, and Stacy with all his heart. He will be greatly missed by me, and the rest of his family. But I will always remember that he's still in my heart. I will also remember all the good times I've had with him, knowing that I'll see him again someday, and we will all be together again.
I love you Tye, you were my cousin, and my hero......
see you soon......
