I was fortunate to know Shannon, even though it was only for a few years. I know Shannon would be overwhelmed by the responses on this website. He would say he did not deserve them. That is how Shannon was. Shannon deserves every bit of gratitude that people are willing to express. He went 10-8 everyday on his motorcycle, not because he had to, because he wanted to. He loved his job. He gave dedicated his life to protect all of us who use the highways everyday. He made the ultimate sacrifice protecting us.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Deanna, and his children, Brionna, Brody, Savannah, and Tucker. We will always be there for you.
Rest well my friend and my brother.
