I watched the news all night and prayed that the information I was getting was wrong. I remember how it felt when it was one of ours and MPD was there for us. I hope your brothers and sisters at MPD realize how much we feel for them. If I could have been there with you I would have. I'm so sorry this had to happen to you (or anyone else). We will pray for your whole family, friends, co-workers. The road will be a long one and we'll try to help them along. It seems your whole family is in law enforcement and this must be heartbreaking for them all. I have never met you but we work in the same city and run across the same people. This should not have happened to you or anyone else. Please tell Deputy George Selby how much we miss him and I'm sure he will be happy to take you under his wing.
